I've used a couple of these in builds (I've built several hundred PCs). They are hands-down the worst AIO I've ever used. Not worth the money, even at a steep discount. If you want a cheap AIO that works pretty well, go with Thermalright.
The last one I bought, actually ended up just throwing away.

What makes these so bad? I'm wanting to use one in an upcoming build

Several things. First, the fans are awful - truly bargain bin garbage. I wouldn't trust them to last for long. And they don't move much air for what they are.

Second, it's an older model and has more cables to manage than more modern AIOs. This might not sound like a big deal but for a builder, it's an issue.

Third, the software is total garbage. Both times that I tried to work with it, it didn't work for me and I ended up using different software (SignalRGB).

Also one of the units that I got had a crooked pump head. No matter how I tried to adjust it, I couldn't get it straightened out. So the Razer logo was tilted and just looked bad.

For just a few bucks more Thermalright has several options that are all MUCH better quality.
