So the mic on these is shit compared to other brands. Also still has weak plastic pieces but is a big improvement from prior gens, which always broke at the connect point of the cans to the headstrap. The mic boom to the can seems to be weak point on these gens.
That said getting 2.4ghz and bluetooth simultaneous connections is hard to get at this price point. So you can be on the phone/music from phone will also gaming or whatever else. Sound modes are good for various uses, superhuman hearing in fps games can be clutch. Best feature by far is flip to mute mic.
Personally for strictly gaming or music I'd take the Razer BlackShark V3 at $139 over the turtle beach, much better mic too.

Everything with the headset has been great except one minor thing. If you use them with low volume a lot, there's like a weird bass buzz when you listen to something in that lower volume range. It's almost like a background static-y noise when you're listening to like a podcast where there are a lot of moments of silence between sentences. That's when it's most noticeable.
I don't like having the volume super high at night time when I'm just chillin watching some youtube videos, the bass buzz is very subtle but enough to sorta annoy me. I tried messing around with EQ but couldn't get it to go away.
But it hit a lot of other checkboxes for me so I'm still happy with them. Hope they're durable
I wanted a mic'd headset, but I'm going back to my Sony headset with Yeti mic setup.
