I read that with these cheaper ones if you live where it snows you have to uninstall the slats every winter. Something to consider

Won't it be sufficient to just keep the slats open in winter ?

I was just about to buy this on Costco, but thought to research before committing.

This one is $300 less than Costco (8.8ft x 14.4ft on sale at $1599 in-store, or shipped at $1699).

Measures slightly different at 10ft x13ft, which works a bit better for me. Gets shipped for free, so that's like a $400 savings.

Thanks, OP!

This is what I do. Through 2 winters in New England my 10' x 20' is still perfect

I've had the 10 x 10 version for a few years now. Way better than the soft tops that you have to change out every year. I live in the northeast and I just turn the louvers open and the snow goes right through.

We experience pretty nasty winds here sometimes too, and with it lag bolted into the deck we've had no problems. There's really not much to catch onto with it.

I need the 10x20, however, in doing the math it's better to buy two 10x13 and it would be cheaper. Would installing two 10x13 side by side work?

Any code for 10x12 pergola? Our patio would not fit 10x13.

You would have a bit of gap between but no other issue AFAIK. The feet have a surround to cover the bolting locations - probably ~1" surround per foot
