The Dash Mini Waffle Maker is a compact, easy to store countertop gadget that heats up quickly and makes small, round waffles with little batter. It is easy to clean and use, and it works well for kids, themed shapes, and keto chaffles made from cheese and egg. The small size also makes it handy for occasional use or running several at once. The tradeoff is slower cooking than larger waffle makers, a very hot exterior and tiny handle, and occasional reports of a chemical smell.

  • The Dash Mini waffle maker heats up quickly and cooks mini waffles with fairly even heat.

    shophappy21Chop468

  • The compact design makes storage and cleaning easy for occasional mini waffle prep.

    wedgietimeBlueCarpenter712

  • The small batter amount under one quarter cup can produce consistent mini waffles without spilling.

    Chop468

  • The mini waffle maker can work well for keto chaffles made from cheese and egg as a bread substitute.

    MSK36918

  • The waffle maker can get pretty hot and may cause burns due to a tiny handle.

    Inc0gnit0xOliveKnob371

  • The mini waffle maker takes much longer than larger waffle makers to produce crispy waffles quickly.

    wedgietime

  • A strange chemical smell can occur when cooking even after several uses.

    raviteja62

  • The nonstick material labeling can conflict between PFOA-free claims and PTFE mention on the box.

I have one of these! Super compact and easy to store. Also easy to clean. However, don't expect a nice crispy waffle quickly. It takes a lot longer than something bigger.

I got this with the stranger thing image on top. It heats up quickly, cook nice crispy waffle, heat pretty even. Takes less than 1/4 cup of batter, perfect circle everytime, no spilling.

I have a couple that work great. Get a few going at once and you can bust out a bunch. They are L'eggo sized and we use them more than our Breville one.

I have one, got it from Costco with a bunch of design plates. I got to say, if you only want one small waffle, and/or aren't in a rush, I guess this is fine, but mine's been in the garage for quite a while. It's really not worth it for me. I replaced it with a, "Cuisinart Flip Belgian Waffle Maker", which I snagged for $60 using Kohl's promos, and have been very happy with it. I see now that Cuisinart makes a version that can do two waffles at a time, which seems brilliant.

NOTE: The Materials section states "PFOA Free", but per one reviewer: "The box states that it uses PTFE for the nonstick surface. There is conflicting messages as the information section says it does not use PTFE but the box clearly states that it does."

I have one of these. I mostly use it for keto chaffles made out of cheese and egg. Which are good for a bread substitute if you're doing keto and want to make a sandwich.
