I've been on the Eufy ecosystem for 5+ years now but I never bothered to look up whether they had a PoE PTZ option. Anyone here have experience with this to know if it's worth getting if you're already invested in the non PoE Eufy options?

This is a new line for them. I have 8 eufy cameras; a mix between plug-in and solar powered. Unless they rebuild their app, i think it is a bit underwhelming. I would probably steer to unify if i am investing into a POE system.

I love the Eufy ecosystem, have all their smart locks on the doors (palm reader) and upgraded to the PoE system from their Solar cameras. Big time upgrade from the Solar, much faster and of course it's always recording which is great. For the price and technology, you can't beat it. Their AI is good, not amazing, but it's getting better. Overall, I'm happy I upgraded.

A word of caution on eufy cameras. They have been known to lie about the security of the video feeds of cameras. This came up a few years ago where they had claimed that their cloud was "local access only". Turned out that playback of their cameras was stored in their service. Also, they had a direct access exploit that allowed anyone with access to a network to direct connect to the feed with just a URL and a sniffer.
Then Anker refused to even address the issue or change their branding around it.

I do like some of Anker's products, but I will never own another camera or other smart device of theirs again.
