I returned them and got the double rollerblade type wheels, which im super happy with.
I do not suggest using the single wheel rollerblade wheels on hard surfaces, they can put divots in your floor because all the weight rests on a small area.
I would still use a mat under them, but it's not required like it is with rollerblade wheels.

These dual 2 inch office chair casters are best for adding smoother rolling and easier direction changes than the stock plastic wheels, especially on carpet and tile. They also spread weight better than single rollerblade style wheels, which can help reduce floor dents and chair base stress. On hardwood and LVP, they still benefit from a mat, and the 2 inch size may feel too low for some chairs or carpets. The metal housing and swivel feel are also described as a bit rough, so fit and floor type matter.
people using an office chair on high-pile carpet because dual-wheel casters reduce turning friction and make direction changes easier than single-wheel setups, especially on carpet where there's more friction at the floor surface.
home offices on hardwood/LVP where you want less "roll away" and easier steering than rollerblade-style wheels because these dual wheels were described as easier to change direction and less likely to roll on their own compared with rollerblades.
buyers who need a safer option for hard floors because commenters reported the metal housing on some wheel styles can be sharp enough to stab feet, and they switched to dual-rollerblade/double-wheel types instead.
people matching wheel size to what their chair already came with because one commenter said these 2" wheels are the same size as the ones that came on their chair, and they were using them on berber carpet.
ceramic tile users who are replacing plastic casters because rollerblade-style replacement wheels (including dual-wheel types) were reported to roll much more effortlessly than plastic casters and even tore up grout less than the plastic wheels did.
office chair owners who want to protect LVP/hardwood because dual-wheel casters were described as less prone to denting than single wheels (though a mat was still recommended).
buyers using rollerblade-style single-wheel casters on hard surfaces who are trying to avoid floor damage because commenters warned that single rollerblade wheels can concentrate weight and contribute to divots or even cracking of floor planks over time.
people who want the smoothest "too easy to move" feel because at least one commenter said rollerblade-style wheels can be super smooth but sometimes "too easy to move," and another said direction changes were sharper rather than smooth compared with two-wheel setups.
people who specifically want 3" wheels because at least one buyer said the listing/link was for 2-inch wheels (not 3-inch) and they were unhappy with how the 2" wheels rolled.
people who are sensitive to sharp hardware because one commenter returned these after the metal housing was sharp enough to stab their feet if they stepped back.
Steelcase Leap v2 owners who need wheels that clear the gas piston because a commenter reported that 2" dual wheels don't work on that chair (piston sits too low and hits the floor), requiring a more expensive 3" option.
anyone planning to rely on a folding chair mat seam because a commenter said the seam can invite divots from chair wheels, which can affect wheel performance.

Many office chairs come with 5 wheels. Does yours not?
And some with four. Some with only one for the most adventurous amongst us

Umm no...in fact it's somewhat the opposite. I just switched out a set from the 3" to the 2" dual wheels on the chair I'm using. If you find the single wheel rolling around to much dual wheels offer more control AND more resistance when trying to change directions because it has to deal with the dual wheels. The specific example one person mentioned was rolling forward and then trying to roll right for example trying to pick up a dropped phone requires more effort. The wheels do roll much better than the regular ones that come with the chair and depending on desk height a 2" set might be better than a 3" set. Another user mentioned heavier people (and I'm not light) might have better results with the single wheel but I'm not finding much of an issue with the double wheels.
