I returned them and got the double rollerblade type wheels, which im super happy with.
I do not suggest using the single wheel rollerblade wheels on hard surfaces, they can put divots in your floor because all the weight rests on a small area.
I would still use a mat under them, but it's not required like it is with rollerblade wheels.

These dual 2 inch office chair casters are best for adding smoother rolling and easier direction changes than the stock plastic wheels, especially on carpet and tile. They also spread weight better than single rollerblade style wheels, which can help reduce floor dents and chair base stress. On hardwood and LVP, they still benefit from a mat, and the 2 inch size may feel too low for some chairs or carpets. The metal housing and swivel feel are also described as a bit rough, so fit and floor type matter.
Common Questions (5)
They are less prone to dent LVP and hardwood than single rollerblade-style wheels, but a floor mat is still recommended for best protection. Rollerblade wheels concentrate weight into a smaller area and have been linked to mat damage, grout wear, and plank corner cracking.
They tend to help most on carpet, especially higher-pile carpet, because the dual-wheel design reduces turning friction and makes direction changes easier. On hardwood, they still roll lighter than plastic casters and can be easier to steer, but the difference versus single-wheel casters is smaller.
No. The listing is for 2-inch wheels, and at least one Steelcase Leap v2 setup was reported to sit too low for them, with the gas piston hitting the floor; a 3-inch version was needed instead. They are also described as universal on many office chairs, so fit depends on chair clearance.
They roll much easier than the original plastic casters, which are described as hard to move and not smooth. Compared with rollerblade-style wheels, these dual casters give more control and less runaway rolling, though some buyers still prefer the smoother feel of rollerblade wheels.
The metal housing is reported to be sharp enough to stab feet if you step back while standing up. On floors, they are generally gentler than single rollerblade wheels, but any wheel profile can still cause damage without a mat, especially on softer flooring.

Many office chairs come with 5 wheels. Does yours not?
And some with four. Some with only one for the most adventurous amongst us

Umm no...in fact it's somewhat the opposite. I just switched out a set from the 3" to the 2" dual wheels on the chair I'm using. If you find the single wheel rolling around to much dual wheels offer more control AND more resistance when trying to change directions because it has to deal with the dual wheels. The specific example one person mentioned was rolling forward and then trying to roll right for example trying to pick up a dropped phone requires more effort. The wheels do roll much better than the regular ones that come with the chair and depending on desk height a 2" set might be better than a 3" set. Another user mentioned heavier people (and I'm not light) might have better results with the single wheel but I'm not finding much of an issue with the double wheels.
