Supergiant's catalog here is praised as a strong run of stylish action games, with Bastion, Transistor, Hades, and Hades II drawing the most enthusiasm. Bastion is called an exceptional bargain at this price, while Transistor stands out for its atmosphere, music, and artsy Zelda feel. Hades and Hades II are described as masterpieces with huge replay value, and Hades II has also gained more story content and a changed ending through recent updates. Bastion's clunky feel and narrator style are the main drawbacks, making this a compelling bundle if that older design still appeals.

  • Bastion can be an easy buy at the listed price because it is framed as exceptional value.

  • Hades and Hades II can feel like a spiritual successor to Bastion for players who enjoy that style.

  • Hades II can stay highly replayable across multiple completionist playthroughs.

  • Transistor can deliver strong atmosphere and music that stand out during play.

  • Bastion can feel clunky and its narrator style can be a turnoff for some players.

  • Bastion may not match expectations if it is assumed to be a roguelike like Hades.

If you haven't played Bastion yet, it'll be the best $2.24 you spend this year.

Everything here is good. I have played hundreds of hours across all the titles. Hades 1 and 2 are awesome and feel like a spiritual successor to Bastion.

Tried to play Bastion a handful of times. Couldn't get into it, gameplay felt clunky and the voice narrator wasn't my style... Hades 1/2 look interesting tho

I'm a latecomer to Supergiant games with Hades and Hades 2, but those games are such masterpieces that I feel like I should buy all these other titles if nothing more than to just support the developers. I'm just about to finish my 4th completionist playthrough of Hades 2 and I seriously can't believe how fun this game remains. Also, to my surprise, they've added a lot of story content since my 3rd playthrough, and just released another update yesterday. They changed the ending A LOT. Freaking awesome developers!

I felt the same way about Bastion. Wasn't my jam. But I tried it specifically because I played Hades first and fell in love with it. I'd say absolutely pull the trigger
