šļø Build Quality
B&W PX7 S2 leads with metal adjustment arms and premium materials. Momentum 4 is solid but plasticky. Sony XM4 is decent ā though its hinge is a well-known weak point with a whole aftermarket of replacement parts. Accentum feels the cheapest of the four.
šµ Sound Quality
PX7 S2 is the audiophile pick ā bio-cellulose drivers, flagship-borrowed DSP, wide soundstage. Momentum 4 is warm and fun-tuned for everyday listening. XM4 punches hard with LDAC support on Android. Accentum is muddier stock but EQs surprisingly well for the price.
š Noise Cancelling
Sony XM4 > Momentum 4 > PX7 S2 > Accentum. The Accentum's ANC is genuinely below average. The B&W is solid but lets in more ambient noise than Sony or Sennheiser's flagship.
š ļø Longevity
Momentum 4's 60-hour battery means far fewer charge cycles over its lifetime ā a real longevity edge. B&W is built to last physically but goes completely silent when the battery dies, even wired. XM4 typically lasts 3ā5 years with the hinge being the main failure point. Accentum's cheaper plastics and no IP rating are worth noting.
š Who's it for?
Accentum ā budget-conscious, sound-first buyers who'll use EQ
PX7 S2 ā audiophiles who want premium feel and fidelity
Sony XM4 ā best ANC, most features, widest ecosystem ā though it's a few generations old now
