You'll need an adapter in order to be able to use M18 batteries. https://www.amazon.com/TPDL-Adapt...366&sr=8-1

It works with...CRAFTSMAN V20 batteries.

Why do people keep asking such questions?

Yes, it might work with others with ADAPTERS, but those are completely separate from the tool!

Go look for a Dewalt-to-V20 adapter, if you can find one, it should work.

Unless you need a large size cordless waxer, spend the money on a real polisher, HF/Bauer have a decent corded short throw machine that comes up on sale for a similar price.

The DeWalt question wasn't that unheard of since both brands have the same parent company (Milwaukee guy probably saw red and thought there was no other difference).

I use Dremel 12v and Bosch 12v tools and batteries interchangeably.

I did look into it though and DeWalt 20V and Craftsman V20 do not use the same pins or rails, and therefore are not compatible.

Will it work with Energizer batteries?

Proprietary batteries ? No thanks, I'll pass. In my case, the tool I buy has to be Makita compatible natively with no adapters, just like almost all PRC made no-name brand tools do.

O or are u saying u want non name brand stuff that runs off Makita batteries like alot of that stuff does? I get there's a lot of compatibility and I've heard talk of new 🪫 but as far as I know Makita has the least amount of technology goin into there batteries well 18 volt at least all plain 18650 cells that been around has to be at least a decade now. No 21700 or tabless
