I got one of these recently on sale from DTO so that I could have a cheap speaker to leave out in the garage. I think it was roughly $25. I don't hate it, but I really don't love it. The sound is good enough to listen to my crappy music in the garage, but is otherwise fairly lousy. It also uses up the batteries a bit faster than I expected (which is honestly not really a problem). I doubt it's loud enough to be any good outdoors. For about the same money, I have cheap Anker Soundcore speakers that are better in every way (except for having interchangeable batteries). So while I think these are good enough to be bare minimum speakers, DO NOT pay more than $25 for them. I feel like $20 or less is a more fair price. Maybe it'll surprise me by being really durable or something. So yeah, it's an ok speaker, just don't pay full price for it.
Edit: My review sounds pretty mean, let me emphasize that overall I really do like it. Its use-case is having a nice, light cheapie speaker around.

Oh! just looked at DTO, the bigger speaker is $33 today with $7.50 shipping. Catch this on a free shipping day and you've got a better deal. https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...ts/pcl600b
