I'd much rather have the other (Amazon Basics Thunderbolt 4 Pro dock) for the same price. It has HDMI port, Ethernet port and etc.

It's been cheaper before.
This dock is unique because of the extra TB4 ports. It's more of a TB4 hub. You can plug other Tb docks into it.
I've got 3 other TB devices plugged into this dock.

That's exactly what I needed it for. I used two docks chained a Qgeem TB4 and belkin TB 3. The Qgeem went out and the Belkin doesn't have a power button which is kind of a pain.
