This thing leaks like crazy, the bottle leaves an oil ring on the counter every time you set it down.

While this is a reputable brand (that contains authentic oil), this price of $0.48 per ounce doesn't beat costco at $0.38 per ounce

Pretty good price. My frame of reference is $22 for one of these at Sprouts though (which is pretty expensive to begin with).

I guess the bottle is cool, but it's odd that they don't make any mention the bottle material or its safety. They do say it's BPA free. https://chosenfoods.zendesk.com/h...e-BPA-free

Price-wise it's not slick, it's only slightly cheaper at Costco (when in stock) or Sam's, 41¢ per oz there v.s. 43¢ with this deal.

Seems like you're buying it for the squeeze bottle, basically.

Alternative:
1) Buy in bulk from Costco
2) Buy a cheap plastic condiment squeeze bottle for like $2-3 from your local grocery store.
3) Refill from the bulk container as needed.
4) ???
5) Profit!

Yes, it's for the squeeze bottle. If buying the big bottle of Chosen at Costco (when in stock, out of stock where I am) you're only saving 2¢ per oz, so not that big of a savings even when they have it. I don't think buying cheap plastic condiment bottles to store oil is such a great idea either. If you like Chosen avocado oil this is a good way to buy it. As others have stated, you can always refill the Chosen bottle with whatever brand or type of oil you want.
