Lol at the "list price" being higher than the MSRP on sog's website.

This is about 20-25 bucks off the average selling price, and $10 higher than the historic low. For a "made in taiwan" knife it's still overpriced, even at its historic low.

Get a Kershaw blur for much less. Made in USA and a superb daily carry knife that will last a lifetime.

1) You can't get a Kershaw Blur with CTS XHP steel, which is a more expensive steel.
2) You can't get a Kershaw Blur with linen micarta scales on the handle/frame.
3) The Kershaw Blur ONLY comes with an assisted open action, which many people dislike.

Where are you seeing the Blur for much less? They are in the nineties at Amazon. The steel is a step down too.

I do love the Blur though. I have a bunch I picked up in 2012-2013 for $25-$30.

Blur is on sale for $68 in another post right now (Amazon)

Having noted that, I also agree CTS XHP is a higher-class steel than 14c28n.

This right here. I love micarta handles, I hate assisted open knives, and I don't care where it's made. I've been happier with my cheapo Kizer and Civivi knives than any Kershaw I've owned (and I've owned more knives than I'd like to admit).

I love Civivi and especially Kizer (I have tons of them). However, my three variants of the Kershaw Bel Air are a step above any of those. Just my opinion.
