why not go compare it with your travel portal?
Didn't they devalue the points last October (for new earned points)? I have a chase Ink preferred and got a notice that old points will still get the 1.5 but new points are at 1.0
edit to say that yes if you have old points and are getting 1.5 cpp then 100% you should use them for this type of travel if you can get the same price. there's no transfer program that would consistently beat that.
