Prioritize the return policy IMO. We have the previous model and our first one died after 3-4 years. Strong electric smell. But we loved it enough to buy another.

I don't understand space saving on this product, is it not bottom heavy? Aren't they basically calling for a mishap with someone mistakenly lifting up a hot oven?

We've had one since they first launched, and have "sold" one to practically every family and friend that has stopped by. We cook in this more than our full size oven. Literally use this thing at least twice daily.

I have the newer model which the difference is the controls are on the right hand side instead of being at the bottom. Really don't like it(regardless of model). Hate how the handle is on the left only. I've had toaster ovens for years where they put the handle on the front. It's extremely inconvenient to make sure your left hand is free to open the door. Also, hate how low the unit is. Makes it difficult to see food inside while cooking. Now with this specific model, the control being at the bottom might make it even more inconvenient. You can never have the door open and see the bottom panel or have access to your controls. This is by far one of the worst designs ever for a toaster oven. It might save space but its extremely inconvenient. For a Ninja product, this absolutely is not worth it. I don't have any other issues with it and cooks just fine. May burn the food from time to time because the unti heats up faster than other toaster ovens because of its size

How well does the air fryer on this work? As well as a basket air fryer, although probably takes longer to heat up?
