Community Reviews
This iBUYPOWER Slate packs a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RX 9070 XT, 32GB of DDR5, and a 2TB SSD into a strong gaming rig that feels like a solid value at this price. The build has been running smoothly for some and the performance has been described as fantastic, with the current market making the RAM and storage look especially competitive. The main cautions are iBUYPOWER's reputation for cheaper motherboard, cooler, and power supply parts, plus reports of a hot running AIO and awkward BIOS updating. It looks like a capable high end prebuilt if those tradeoffs are acceptable.
Common Questions (4)
The 9800X3D, RX 9070 XT, 32GB DDR5, and 2TB SSD configuration is widely described as a strong deal for the price, especially compared with similar systems that were listed much higher elsewhere. It is also noted that current RAM and storage pricing makes the bundle more attractive.
Some systems have run for years with no issues, including one nearly 5-year-old unit and another bought in 2020. Other reports mention early component failures such as an SSD slot dying or a RAM stick going bad, so the build can be fine but individual parts may vary.
For gaming, the RX 9070 XT build is attractive, but a 16-core productivity machine may favor NVIDIA if you need CUDA support. That makes the AMD build better for value-focused gaming, while NVIDIA can be the safer pick for CUDA-dependent workloads.
The 360mm AIO can run a bit hot, and one reported fix is to repaste it. BIOS upgrading is also described as difficult because it cannot be done from inside the BIOS.

Regardless, this build seems like a good value understanding where market prices are for Ram and memory.
Tempting but i'm not sure how an ATI card nowadays compares to nvidia when it comes to gaming, and my 4070 is good enough for now. Hoping for AI crash so prices can get back to reality.
