Single-handed would defeat the purpose of the tool, there would be no way for the drive to keep going in the same direction while your turning hand is resetting. Hard to explain, but in use I have not found it awkward.

It's bulky asf. Slightly awkward. It flew somewhere in my trunk and I lost the bottom cap of the smaller screwdriver. Without it the smaller piece doesn't lock into the larger handle at all. Found a better multi bit tool with less bulk

The double-drive is really cool if you haven't used it before.
You do not get any precision/micro bits with the double drive.
