Agreed, especially on durability. Have had 5 Casio watches, none of their resin bands lasted more than 4 years. Will never spend more than 20 on a disposable plastic piece again, if any.

Yeah, as a G-Shock fanatic, I am always dismayed at how the resin bands/bezels start to look fugly fairly quickly just from scratches/abrasion. I haven't figured out how to touch up the finish, unlike with stainless steel that can be re-brushed or polished. The saving grace is that I can buy new bezels and bands when the old ones wear out.
They're also susceptible to accelerated degradation under UV light, so those people who leave their solar CASIO resin watches in sunlight to charge end up destroying the resin faster.
