The Arc Ultra is better overall vs the Arc especially with dialogue but IMO, it's not worth the $400+ premium over the Arc soundbar at just $399
Community Reviews
Sonos refurb deals here center on building a compact home theater with the Arc, Sub Gen 3, and Era 100s, with the strongest praise going to the soundstage, bass, and surround effect. The Arc and Sub combo is described as a big upgrade for living rooms and small rooms alike, and the Era 100s work well as surrounds or as a stereo pair. Refurb units repeatedly arrive looking new, often in sealed packaging, and carry the same one year warranty as new products. The main caution is that room size and acoustics matter, and the Sub Mini or Beam 2 can make more sense in smaller spaces.
Refurbished Sonos speakers can arrive looking new in sealed retail packaging with minimal signs of prior use.
An Arc plus Sub Gen 3 setup with two Era 100 surrounds can produce an impressive surround effect for daily listening.
The Arc and Sub Gen 3 combination can deliver a strong alternative to buying an Arc Ultra for the same home theater goals.
Era 100 speakers can sound surprisingly good in real-world setups like a workplace cafeteria.
The Sub Gen 3 can be out of stock intermittently, which can make it harder to complete the bundle at the listed price.
The Sub Gen 3 can produce distortion or noise when the sub level is set to 0, requiring a lower setting to reduce unwanted sound.
The Sub Gen 3 may be hard to notice in music for smaller rooms, with clearer differences showing up more in movies.
Certified refurbished products can be excluded from the 15% Frontline workers discount.

Certain refurb devices tend to sell out quickly and they don't come up all that often.
The refurb Era 100s at $134 are also an excellent deal but are often easier to come by. They don't go any lower in price than that tho.
No idea what you paid for the Refurbished Arc soundbar but in the past they were $399 which is a slickdeal for sure.
I have this exact configuration and love it. No complaints!
