What's the best non stick set? They have tiers dont they?
I wouldn't spend money on AllClad non-stick. They really aren't any better (possibly worse) than other manufacturers like Circulon, Analon, etc. it is worth spending money on their stainless steel pots and pans though.
FWIW, the 3qt sauté pan is my single most used pan of all my All-Clad. Highly recommended this price - I picked one up for a Christmas gift for the same price on the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale last year

I have the 6qt deep saute pan. It is indeed a workhorse--although sometimes I almost wish I had bought the 3qt instead because I'm only cooking for two and the 6qt is a massive pan.
Worth having in any form, though. There's some things it can comfortably do (like one-pot pastas) that even my 12-inch cast iron skillet struggles to fit everything.

Look into an essential / chef's pan. Great for liquid heavy dishes.
It reviewed well, but there's a serious caveat that they recommend it as "The best enameled cast iron skillet with a lid"...and the pan sold on the factory seconds website does not include a lid. So that might seriously limit the recommendation. They do note that it is quite heavy.

I was REALLY considering getting the 6pt deep saute pan. My fear is that it's going to essentially be just another stock pot but with a handle and it's weight would be a bit cumbersome for alot of dishes. I'm thinking I may grab a 4qt one one of these days just to give me a bit more room for larger meals when my kids are home from college.
I was thinking of maybe the All Clad Mother of All Pans
IMO, the "Mother of All Pans" looks to me like it's just the 6qt deep saute pan but without the long handle. Either one would probably work for you. I like the handle for shaking/tossing stuff in the pan, but it does make it trickier to store.
I know some very knowledgeable people hop into these threads. If I already have the Costco 13-piece set, any additional pieces anyone recommends that they get a lot of use out of?
Griddle pan is used a lot in my house.
