Yosmart / Yolink is a good company to do business with. They are quick with their customer service advice and warranty replacements. I had a wall thermostat that had issues, and I could ask for no better service or treatment in the process. Good products that work well. I have leak sensors everywhere and an auto shut off valve that works everytime I test it. And no, I'm not a bot - just a happy customer.

I just got the kit for a new home of mine. I love that the devices communicate to each other over their own network and do not rely on wifi. I'm seeing on ebay that I can get water sensors for about $10/each which is a crazy good deal. I'll probably have a network of 15-20 water sensors when I complete the project.
Which one is better? Bulldog if you have a shut off valve handle
This is newer than bulldog and provides more torque but it's also slightly bigger. I had a tight space so I went with the bulldog and it has been working great for me.
yes. That's the whole purpose of this. Find out what type of main shut-off valve you have and then you can reach out to their support for compatibility. They are very responsive. Support email: [email protected]
Just beware: If your water shuts off the hot water heater element could overheat and warp if you don't shut that off also (and are using the hot water fast). It could be possible to set up a smartbreaker with homeassistant or something to shut it off for you.

I don't follow this logic. If you shut of the cold water, there is no water pressure to send hot water out from the water heater. Right? The water heater has the same amount of water and it does not know the water supply was cut off.

So far, works flawlessly with no disconnects. The device to device automation + battery backup is a very nice addition for those power outages. Even at this price, it's much cheaper than most alternative (and has even more features than most competitors).
Doesn't require you to cut into any pipes, but only works on 1/4 turn valves.
