Decent deal as long as you intend to upgrade the GPU down the road with more VRAM. Not familiar with Allstate warranty, but it's better than nothing I suppose.

I have this same prebuilt, except I paid 2k for a 5070 ti, Ultra 9 and 2tb ssd (Costco sale). It's very quiet compared to my old iBP. The PSU unfortunately is non-modular and emits whine when PC is put to sleep, so I plan to replace once 1 yr warranty is up with ASUS. The spare ssd port lies beneath the GPU, so you have to pop it out in order to install a 2nd one (just annoying).

Brand new at Walmart is just $100 more. For this refurb price, should be at least 5060 16

I saw this when I first woke up ..pretty much with 1 eye opened. I thought it was a 5080! Honestly this is decent but I don't think it's the best deal.

If we are still around in 1000 years I don't think we will still be using RAM : )

Yeah, its not terrible, but if you upgrade GPU in the future, you'll probably need to upgrade the PSU too (600w might get you into 5070 territory, but depends on PSU manufacturer). Really wish the prebuilt manufacturers would overspec the PSU for the build more often, especially on the systems with proprietary PSUs.

why bother just use 16 gb pc wait until ai bubble bursts and then lots of ai chips to be used as gpu chips since they are all basically just that used as asics like they did for btc and crypto mining thats where nvda and amd got their ideas from anyway.

Is there enough space for an ssd with heatsink?

This seems like a lot of money for a mediocre "gaming" computer. That GPU is pathetic.

It's honestly one of the best GPUs available for under $250
