TP-Link's BE11000 mesh system stands out as a cheap way to get WiFi 7, tri band coverage, and four 2.5 Gbps ports per unit, with easy setup, strong app control, and solid performance for many homes. It also works well with older 2.4 and 5 GHz devices and can serve as a Matter controller. The main cautions are that advanced features like parental controls are subscription based, setup is app and account only, and some units run warm or have disconnect and roaming issues. A strong value if you can find it in stock.

Common Questions (5)

  • It can be very stable and easy to set up, but some users report weaker range than competitors and occasional disconnects between mesh nodes. Other reported issues include warm-running units, roaming drops, and parental-control behavior that can be slow to reconnect devices.

  • No, the warehouse app and inventory lookup can be stale or wrong. Shoppers report stores showing in stock when the units were already gone, so checking the warehouse, merchandise pickup, or same-day delivery lookup is more reliable.

  • For many homes, yes: it is a tri-band Wi‑Fi 7 mesh system with four 2.5 Gbps ports per unit, and several shoppers say it is hard to beat under $100. It still works well with older 2.4/5 GHz devices, so Wi‑Fi 7 is mainly future-proofing rather than a requirement.

  • Setup and control require the TP-Link app and account, not a browser. It can also be used as access points only behind another router, which is a practical workaround if you want to keep an existing firewall or gateway in place.

  • Yes. Basic controls are included, but advanced features are subscription-based. Parental controls can set only one bedtime schedule for every day without a subscription; separate weekday and weekend schedules require paying for the extra plan.

Hmm considering driving 25 miles to a location that says "in stock" in local warehouse inventory. Have a closer location that says low stock but figure that is or will probably be gone.

How accurate has warehouse inventory been for most people? In my personal experience it hasn't ever been wrong but then again I haven't tried to get an ultra hot deal like this one.

Super busy with family visiting so if I strike out it will suck. Wish I saw this yesterday, damn.

Don't think they price match store price since store price always cheaper, also store need to have it in stock for price match. One time a store even require they have at least 3 in stock for price match, which probably is a BS.

That makes sense. They had several in stock yeterday, and when I went to buy one, they said some guy bought them all out.

From the reviews it appears there is no local setup. You have to connect to some cloud service. :-/

It's not accurate- go by the main product page not warehouse view.
