From the reviews it appears there is no local setup. You have to connect to some cloud service. :-/

this is a good deal for being wifi 7 mesh with four 2.5 Gbps ports in each unit and priced at wifi 6 dual-band with no ports.
i currently have this and my only complaint is that i may have over saturate my house. my phone kept getting disconnect and re-connect while i am sitting between two units. it's no problem browsing web but becomes an issue while playing games on my phone... waiting for wifi 8 to resolve this issue...

It's going to be good for the vast majority of people for probably the next 10 years. Wifi 7 has a lot of problems still and manufacturers continue to have issues.

This price is solid though. All the norcal Costcos show 399

I bought this at 340$ the other week but returned it bc I was having trouble connecting with my pixel 10. At this price I def will re buy and troubleshoot it more

The app setuo and control panel is also not the best. I made mistake of going with tplink mesh and it's pain to replace them including outdoor access point so I may have to bite the bullet and try this. Can add the old x55s as access points and use these as main units.
