You're definitely over 45. Most millennials and younger dont have a guest room, let alone a room to stick a $700 tv in they wont use

Native Refresh Rate is only 60Hz just fyi. If you watch Sports or fast-paced content like Action Movies, a higher refresh rate means less blur which can actually cause headaches in some. Even if the content itself is capped at 60Hz, the screen can still refresh the image on your screen faster, making it appear smoother.

Like 40 different reasons. Better quality, better contrast, local dimming, etc. This is a midrange set, the Hisense is low range. You need an 8+ to be equal or better than this one.

from rtings.com: "The Hisense 75U65QF is slightly better than the TCL QM5K, but the differences are very minor. The Hisense TV is a bit brighter overall in most scenes, allowing bright highlights to stand out better in HDR, but it's also less accurate. It's also better for gaming, as it supports a higher refresh rate with 4k signals, so you can take full advantage of the latest gaming consoles. ". From what I see u65qf do have better specs, 144hz native fresh rate, motion rate 480, have full array local dimming. Maybe QM6k is better than U65QF but def not QM5k especially when it's more expensive? QM5k is entry level so is qm6k, their mid range is qm7k and above.

Are movie theaters are 24p really unpleasant and painful for you?

This being google vs and being lighter and less chuncky / tcl slightly better build are the only advantage over the hisense u6. U6 is overall technically a better tv in all aspects otherwise.

I have a ten year old hisense that's still going strong.
