Actually, I just wore it on my Antarctica cruise, where February temperatures can dip into the high 20s. I bought it in early January for $14, and I'd say it performed as well as my North Face Triclimate. I usually layer it under a rain jacket, which is not as heavy as North Face outer jacket.

Laughable "comparable price" marketing however I do stand behind this and other jackets from the brand. I actually ate sh1t on a motorcycle wearing one of these jackets and the thing doesn't show any signs of wear. The hood is detachable and actually looks quality enough to wear to work.
