First time buyer - I bought 4 boxes on sale and they were hit or miss for 'freshness'. All the boxes expired in September, 2026, but even within the same box some packages had soft pastries and others were so hard I needed to microwave them to eat them. I didn't have a problem with the flavor, I liked the pastry's taste cold or hot. I just don't understand the differences in quality and wouldn't trust them to pack them in a meal where I may not have access to a microwave. The regular price is about the same as store brands, so I probable won't buy them again.

Holy cow -- the main ingredient is SUGAR ... followed by MORE SUGAR and ALOT of SUGAR ... LOL
AND.... all held together by a thick sugar coating.
IDK but pop tarts do not taste the same as when I was a kid. Same deal of Little Debbie snacks. They smell of chemicals and the sugar taste cheap and grainy.

To be fair, the main ingredient is wheat flour, but a 96 g serving of 2 pastries is 26 grams added sugar. 26/96=%27. These things are 1/3 pure added sugar!
