That website is so full of cute blathering and nearly devoid of specifications. Even Woot is more readable. You can click on the "Buy for $110 at Aukey" link to get actual information about the product and get away from the meth laden story on Meh. I'd bite on this but had a similar (cheaper) one from Amazon/Inui that the hinge broke fairly fast.

I have this. It's great. I keep it in my travel backpack. The difference here is that this uses a certified "Made for Apple Watch" Apple Watch charger. Apple previously put out an announcement not to use uncertified Apple Watch chargers, as they are missing something that can negatively affect the battery in the watches. This is a great deal for QI 2 and a certified Apple Watch charger.I think I paid $50 and it was worth it.
The specs say this is the older 15w qi2 model not the newer 25w qi2.2
Where are you seeing any specs or mfr no? The meh page is full of meaningless blah. The mfr link goes to the "plus" qi2.2 model. Where do you even see the previous qi2 model?

If you click on the "discuss this deal" button, you'll see the specs.
Does this one charge the apple watch anywhere near as fast (and without heating it up!) as the official apple watch puck?
I bought this for a few dollars more when Best Buy had it on sale late last year.
As noted already, this has a MFW-certified watch charger, which means it utilizes the same puck as the Apple charger (as required by MFW rules).
I haven't bothered to time it, but it should perform similarly to the OE charger, which for me means about an hour to take a U2 from near empty (10-20%) to 80%, similar to a Belkin travel charger I also have (also MFW).
Aukey (also dba Amegat) is phasing out their older 15W models, including this one.
The Amegat-labeled version on Amazon has dropped from $60-something to $45.
Between the two, the extra $15 will get you a manufacturer's warranty (2-year, not the 90 day meh/Morningsave/SideDeal seller warranty), and Amazon's 30-day return policy (final sale on meh).
Can't say for certain which kit the meh outlets are selling, but the full bundle includes a molded EVA travel case. The BB kit did not; only a soft travel pouch.
Whether the full warranty and return privileges are worth the $15 is an individual choice. Also the option for the silver color.

FWIW - I have both Qi2 15w and Qi2.2 25w wireless chargers and despite the large difference in potential max speed, I do not find the 25w charges my 17 Pro Max or Air phones noticeably faster than the 15w. Maybe on the order of 10 minutes to an 80% charge?
