$85 for a chainsaw? Wow! I switched to battery-driven years ago and never looked back, but this is crazy cheap if it works

I bought the 20 inch 62cc and it's just as powerful as the stihl and husqvarna at way more money - it's not as good build quality, but meh $99

Because the HP figure is being featured so prominently in this post, I feel compelled to mention as an FYI that 2.55HP is not very impressive for a 52cc motor. The 40cc Husqvarna 141, frequently seen with a 16" bar, was rated at 2.6HP with 75% of the displacement. (I just pulled that example out of Google because there's some yellow Poulan Pro I was thinking of.) I'm not sure I would be looking for a 20" bar just because bigly is better.

I am sure this is just as serviceable for cleaning up after an unexpected event, or using regularly for years, as any other $100ish consumer grade chainsaw. If it had a Craftsman label slapped on the side, people would come crawling out of the woodwork to slobber over the name brand.

There was a ice storm where I live in Nashville. I bought a high dollar ECHO 24 inch and 2 Vevor 20 Inch 62cc chainsaws. These Vevors worked great. If I did it again I would have bought 3 Vevors and saved myself $350. (The ECHO was $450)

I had some pretty big trees and could not tell much of a difference on performance. I was impressed.

Yeah, it looks like the 62cc is rated at 3.8HP, which is a lot more respectable for a 20" bar. From the earlier comments I got the idea people were looking for a 20" bar on the 52cc saw that was on sale. Google tells me these are clones of Zenoah G5200 and G6200.

Just out of curiosity, does it feel like the Echo weighs 3 pounds less?

Can you buy an extra bar for this too? Or is it so specific and hard to find? I assume it uses standard chains.

Everyone is going goo goo for this thinking 52cc what a deal... I had one and it couldn't cut through hard wood well. Constantly getting stuck and eventually it broke. Called customer service and it's nonexistent. You're basically throwing away money you could put into a reputable company who backs their products
