I think Cerave Moisturizing Cream and Lubriderm are on about the same level. Lubriderm is less expensive. I'm less critical of how they perform on non-hand areas of the body - they're both ok, other than on your hands where they wash off easily.
I like Neutrogena Norwegian Formula (unscented) for hands, although in the last 5 years, they jacked up the price to a ridiculous level (easily over $5 (more likely over $6) for a 3 oz squeeze tube; isn't sold in larger quantities). Norwegian Formula does hold in moisture - I used to use it constantly, but now pretty sparingly, given the price (when I can find it for under about $4/tube I'll stock up).
I think Norwegian Formula beats out Aquaphor Healing Ointment as well, which I think holds in moisture slightly better than Cerave, but is slightly greasy and you really have to work it in. I have some Cerave and Aquaphor containers that I bought a few years ago on good deals, before the prices on all lotions seemed to increase a lot. I use them both weekly, but with my experience with them, there would have to be a pretty good deal before I'd buy them again.
All products that I've mentioned are truly unscented, and that I appreciate.
