Community Reviews
Soundcore P20i earbuds are a basic budget pair that deliver loud, decent sound and long battery life, with IPX5 water resistance that even holds up in the shower. The fit can be awkward for side sleeping because they protrude into the ear canal, and wet ears make them easier to dislodge. Sound quality is clearly entry level, with weaker bass and a distant feel for music, and connection issues show up for some phones and after long use. At around $20, they land as a simple everyday option with a few tradeoffs.
Common Questions (5)
$20 is described as the right price for these, but several comments say this has been the regular price for a while, especially when sold by Anker. Brand-new units can often be found for $25 or less depending on color, and refurbs have sold for $15.99.
The P20i is described as a basic $20 earbud with loud, decent sound, but not premium audio. Some listeners find the bass weaker and the overall sound less satisfying than other Anker models like the A1 or P30.
Battery life is reported as long and fairly long, making them suitable for everyday use without frequent charging. Several owners describe them as lasting a long time over extended use.
They can press into the ear canal when you roll onto your side, and wearing them while sleeping can hurt quite a bit. Rotating the earbuds to a different orientation may improve fit, but comfort depends on your ears.
They are IPX5 water resistant, so they can handle light water jets and have been used in the shower. Wet ears can make them easier to dislodge, so fit may loosen while shampooing.

They're water resistant enough (IPX5 - light jets of water) and affordable enough that I've tried them in the shower,* and they work pretty well, though I did dislodge the right earbud twice while shampooing (it'll depend on your ears). And of course once your ear is wet, they don't want to stay in quite as firmly - but it was all right.
*-I've always wanted to listen to music or a podcast in the shower, but I've always lived in places where the walls were thin and I don't want to disturb other people.
Note: if they aren't comfortable in one orientation, you can rotate them to see if they fit more comfortably in another orientation. This is probably obvious to people that have used wireless earbuds before, but being used to wired earbuds that would get pulled down by any orientation than the wires straight down, it didn't occur to me to try rotating them to pointing forward or up until I read it in the Soundcore fitting help.

One gripe is that the charging pins become intermittent after about a year or so. This means that sometimes one of the buds never turns off and might be dead the next time you try to use it. It also happens that it sometimes hijacks my phone's bluetooth when I want to connect to something else, like my car or my over-the-ear headphones.
This seems typical of low-end buds, as I've had the same problem with at least 2 other brands.
