True... It didn't... but even at $20 @ 2.0Ah. That'd put it at $119?

So still a good deal... but if you dont need a battery. Worth waiting.

To your point, it's a "one in hand or two in the bush" call. The $99 for the tool alone only shows up as happening twice over the past 5-6 months, and the battery seems to have only gone on sale @ $29 only once early this year.

I'm personally waiting for the m18 surge to go down to $100 again, even if it's a YMMV.

At the start of the year: https://slickdeals.net/f/19052371

It was a YMMV but would have been worth a visit

Ok deal, but I got the mid torque for about this price, so to me this isn't as good a deal knowing that.

Have you used one before? At work, we call it "The Milwiki", because it feels like you are using a cheap knock-off. Sure, it's quiet, but it has no power. It will tighten a bolt to about 20lbs of pressure (I have to use a wrench to finish tightening), and will struggle to drive a 1/4" lag into wood; finishing the job about half the time, depending on the density. I've got 2 Fuels, and would trade the Surge for a 3rd Fuel in equal condition.

The plus side is that it is quiet and light, and very efficient. Half the power of a Fuel, twice the battery length; so if that is all you need, it is a good choice.

is the leaf blower only available in 18v? I've got the m12 fuel but never see the leafblower show up in anything but 18v? Do I pick this up for the battery and find a leaf blower separate?
