My first one lasted about 8 months before the battery quit charging. My warranty replacement lasted about 10 months and now won't charge. It's out of warranty and I won't be replacing it. The battery just doesn't last. And at this price, it should.
I bought mine directly from Samsung 14 months ago. A charge used to last a week, now it barely lasts a day and when I run diagnostics it says there an issue with the battery. I just contacted Samsung last week with the issue and they expect me to pay $129 for them to repair it. I won't be spending anymore money on this product

these are covered by fsa plans, in case anyone was wondering (or at least, i double checked with my plan before buying, and they approved and reimbursed!)

Ditto, these WILL die close to the year mark and the battery will either completely fail or only hold a fraction of its original charge. Samsung launched an earlier update that crippled the battery charging and status check and they later had to patch it.
I am going to assume that a vast majority of these are failed/bad batteries. Looks good on the surface when you sync it up, then one to two hours later, battery is totally depleted and dead. No way to fix it, no matter the amount of resets, resyncs, etc.

Bestbuy open box excellent are under Samsung one year warranty for those who wonder. I got a few Buds3 Pro from Bestbuy and was able to register them for one year warranty starting bestbuy purchase date through Samsung. I purchased one ring and planning to register it after reading some comments about battery etc.

I had to send mine back for battery issues. The battery would not even last a few hours with about 11 months of ownership. Even though I bought directly with Samsung, I had to fight them to get warranty service. They kept saying it was out of warranty, even though they have record of me ordering it, I had to send them proof I ordered it on a certain date.
I finally got the replacement, but I suspect it will do the same thing.
I would not buy it even for this price if I had it to do over again. Especially, and 'open box'. I had a hard time getting Samsung to honor warranty of the new one I bought directly from them. This would be a hard no.
Finally, if anyone ever needs to have medical cut one of these off, cut along the bump you feel on the bottom of the ring. That is a safe spot without batteries to burst. (just saying)
These are garbage. Mine and my wife's both died almost exactly 1 year after purchase
Mine is nearing a year now and it lasting fewer days. Started out over a week and now maybe 3-4 days. I don't think it'll survive this year.
I would be upset if I paid full price for it. ~100 seems ok but maybe the upcoming google screenless band next.

Same here, mine kicked the bucket exactly 1 month after Samsung warranty worn out. Check the forums this is a widespread issue with these rings, not very isolate. Buyer Beware!
