Non-stick coating on knife is a bad idea. I stay away. Got quite a few of similar knives lose the coating, some chipped off during preparation.

I have some of the Cuisinart ceramic knives and they are great. However, I would be unlikely to try a no-name brand. I've have Cuisinart replace products that went bad. They stand behind their stuff.
