If you can physically fit the 77 inch in the bedroom, go for this. I have a 77 in my bedroom and I wished I had held out for a 83 or bigger. Nothing beats watching TV from the comfort of your own bed on a huge oled screen.
That is true. Now I want to return my Samsung 65s90f and upgrade to this 77. Though still within return period, I hate to pay restocking fee.

I wish the LG and Samsung deals weren't always for partners. Kind of sucks when you work for a small business.
Google mozilla relay. Setup a free email with them and use that to sign up for the lg partner account. This is what I did and ordered a g5 a couple weeks ago.

For those that ordered a few days ago for a higher price, I did the same for the g5 (not really a higher price but a couple days after ordering they were offering a free soundbar) i reached out to lg support and while they did take awhile, I was actually to the point where the delivery company was trying to setup delivery for the next day, I told them I was in the process of trying to cancel the order and to save them a trip of picking it back up that they hold off on the delivery. Lg finally did cancel the order and I rebought.

As far as the wall mounting through Angi, I suggest skipping it and either looking up hanging it yourself or find a friend who knows how. Angi as a platform to use was terrible, you can't easily look up reviews on the installer you're paired with, the only way to contact the installer is through a relay phone number they give you that will connect you to them. Prior to the installer showing up, I had already installed a recessed media box, added an outlet to the box, hung the included template based on where I wanted my tv, and bought some snap toggles for the screw locations that wouldn't hit a stud. The installer forgot his level so had to use mine, began to install the mount upside down, since it was a 77" the job was for 2 people, 1 installer and 1 helper, the helper never showed up, after getting it on the wall it was crooked, and since the power cable wasn't routed before hanging up, it wasn't flush to the wall. Overall he was there for like 30 minutes since I had everything already lined up. After he left and my wife got home, I had her help me take the tv off the wall, I routed the power cable through the channel, loosened the mount, scooted it over to where I wanted it, releveled it and had her help me hang it back up. I definitely could have handled doing this since I have wall mounted several tvs, but with the size and the fact that my wife wasn't going to be home to help me lift it up, I opted to go with the Angi wall mounting since it was free. If I could do it again, I'd skip it and just handle it myself from the get go.

LG 77" OLED C5 is now at the lowest, $1419.99 with code 77C5200OFF
One of my add-ons got this code and it is working for now!

https://members.us.lg.com/store/p...oled-4k-tv
Can you let me know what was that add-on or at least what letter it starts with?

My 65" A1's dimness and poor screen uniformity makes me want to upgrade, please convince me that I should wait a year for the 77" G6 to drop to ~$2k... This is so tempting.
you should definitely upgrade. What are you even thinking about.

S90f is a better panel with better image quality. I'd only pick a g5 and up over it
Once you use an LG mouse remote it's hard to go back to click up down left right to get to letters. That alone sells LG for me and pretty great OLED. I have a CX that still looks good.

Damn I was waiting for a similar deal on a 65" G5 but this is tempting. The G5 is so much brighter though... first world problems lol.

Still holding out on an all-time low for the 83"
I told myself the same, but the price for the 77 inch is really tempting, especially when the 83 inch is over $1k more...

The TV went up to $1799 as I was trying to checkout must have ended at Midnight eastern time. The cart reflected the $1420 and went up to $1599 as I was trying to checkout. What a bummer.
