This is a compact keychain flashlight that stands out for being surprisingly bright, durable, and handy for everyday carry. It works well on car keys, for checking tires in the dark, and as a small gift because it is useful without being bulky. Battery life is described as long enough that charging is infrequent, and the included i3E is a nice bonus. The main drawback is micro USB charging, which feels dated next to USB C and can mean carrying a separate cable. A solid little light if the size matters more than the connector.
Common Questions (6)
No. This deal's i1R 2 EOS uses Micro-USB, while the i1R 2 Pro uses USB-C. The Pro also adds a larger 130mAh battery, about 12 hours of runtime versus 6 hours, and is listed as 20% brighter.
Yes. It is repeatedly described as a good keychain light because of its small size, and some prefer it over the Pro version for that reason. It is also reported to hold up well on keys over time.
It can be inconvenient because Micro-USB means keeping a separate cable around when most other devices now use USB-C. For shoppers who want one charging standard, the Pro version is the cleaner choice.
Yes. It is described as small but bright, and strong enough for tasks like checking tires in the dark. It is also reported to last a long time between charges.
It can. One reported downside is that it is easy to accidentally switch on and not notice until the battery is nearly dead.
Yes. The bundle is reported to include the i3E EOS as a free gift, and that little light is described as well liked.

I'd prefer a USB C model of course, but it is not a dealbreaker as it is now.
I got mine a super long time ago, let it sit for years before even unsealing the box. I thought for sure the battery would be dead after being left uncharged for so long, but it has held up well as my EDC.
I like the smaller size due to it being on my keychain. I used to carry the AAA Olight models but found those to be too long.
Secondly, I'm a guy. I keep my keys in my pocket. Are you guys really sacrificing pocket space for this?
