Man. I didn't think it would be a big deal but the psychological aspect of $70 games is nuts. Crazy

Went too greedy, can we say switch two was a bit of a flop yet?
I don't think they were too greedy at all.

Have you seen the price of the PC handhelds recently? Handheld it performs similar to a Steam Deck (but with the better DLSS upscaling), docked it's closer to a Series S.

The only disappointment is battery life - I wish they would have put an extra 20-30% larger battery in the thing.

My local Fb marketplace ATL is flooded with all these rang from $250-350.
Was thinking to grab one but my OLED is still amazing. I play mostly dock mode so probaly wait abit more for 2 OLED then.
I also was on the hunt for one on FB marketplace and it is the most commonly resold handheld that people say they have rarely used after buying it.

I wouldn't go that far, but people are strapped for cash The problem isn't the Switch 2 price, it is the price of ownership. Memory cards, controllers and games are very expensive. Physical carts either have no game on them or charge you an extra $10 to get it on there. Ridiculous. I have zero interest in the Switch 2 and even the discount is no incentive when everything else I would need is so expensive.
I don't understand this, switch 2 is outpacing the switch 1 which was the second best selling console of all time behind ps2. It's absolutely not a flop.

The first few years of the switch they didn't have enough consoles to meet demand. They were still almost always bought up at every retail outlet going into 2020.

The Switch 1 was basically my Zelda player. That's what I'm expecting Switch 2 to be for me as well.

Jesus... it's not even a year old yet and it's being sold on WOOT. What a catastrophe. No wonder Nintendo stocks are in absolute free fall...
Woot is owned by Amazon so your assessment of catastrophe is meritless. 🙄

Had the same question last year, but kept my OG Switch for travel (non-oled). Switch one is smaller for packing ease and not so much of a bummer (or cost) if I lose it or if it gets stolen or broken. Also, if you are continuously subscribed and connected to Nintendo Switch Online for both systems, your game progress will update on both systems for games that are compatible with both systems. Just remember to move your virtual game cards (for digital games) back and forth between systems when they are nearby each other and connected to same network (like before you travel).
