Like all such locks, the Lockpicking Lawyer could have this opened in seconds. The weak spot is the keyed lock.

I've gone through 2 of the S3 Max within a month because the screen decides to stop working. My newest replacement seems to be fine so far, but it feels like the screen takes longer and longer to turn on when pressing the button as time goes by.

The Eufy app updates are horrible! With each update, more and more features don't work and you wind up with an inoperable surveillance system. Customer support and their engineers are clueless. Jump through hoops for issues which should have been fixed and thoroughly vetted by them prior to release. Shameful company that needs a class action suit filled asap! Reddit is filled with angry Eufy customers. Also, check out the awful reviews on the Play Store from people that are using the latest downloads of Eufy app and firmware. Terrible, terrible, terrible!!!

The vast majority of people will have a breakable window next to their front door. The function of pick resistance is mostly to prevent covert entry, not to actually prevent a break-in, and the camera and unlock notifications you get from this solve that problem. If your threat model somehow cares about someone picking your lock but being filmed while doing so, but not someone just kicking down your wooden doorframe, I believe the cylinder on this is removable (I have a FamiLock E34 where it is, at least), and you can repin it, replace it with a higher security one, or just jam it shut with epoxy or something.

Then a security system is not of much value because most robberies occur during the day and last under 10 minutes.

People should invest in hardening their home like using 3M security film on windows before buying a fancy lock.

Yep. If you're buying this, it shouldn't be for security, it should be for convenience.

I couldn't agree more!! I have eufy outdoor canera. Their App is the worst! By the time it loads I don't even see who knocked or came to my doorstep 🤷 ♂️
