Dang , wish it has tri-ad lock. Once I own one with it, I can't carry other knives.

I feel like I need one of these, but was wondering the same thing. Maybe it's good for cutting a seat-belt to rescue someone in a car accident. But it would be a chore to use it to peel an apple.

You are right, I meant the Demko Thumb Plate, not the tri-ad lock. The quick draw mechanism

No this would not be any real help for seatbelt, get a Folding knife that is fully serrated, that will cut a heavy strap. This is Kris to be a scary knife, just like the phantasy zombie knife that are completely impractical to use for anything.
