This Costco leather power recliner stands out for comfort, firm cushioning, and a near zero gravity recline that still leaves you sitting fairly upright when not leaned back. The higher back supports the head well, and the size works especially well for shorter or average builds, with some finding it useful for recovery or nursery use. The main caveats are its narrow seat for taller or bigger bodies and the bulky, heavy packaging, which can be hard to fit in an SUV or small car. The warehouse price around $399 makes it feel like a strong value.
Common Questions (4)
Yes. The warehouse price is repeatedly reported at $399, while the online price is $499.99 with delivery included. Several comments also note buying it in-store for $399 or even about $100 less than the advertised online price.
The box is large, roughly 40" wide, 48" deep, and 44" tall, and the chair is close to 120 lbs. It comes in two pieces, but the package may still be too big for smaller SUVs or cars, so truck or warehouse help can be needed.
It is comfortable for many users, with a firm cushion, an upright sitting position, and a recline that goes close to zero-gravity. But it is also described as narrow and small for people close to or over 6 ft tall, so larger buyers may find the fit tight.
Sometimes, but not always. The chair comes in two pieces that can fit in some SUVs, yet the full box was too large for smaller cars and even a BMW X5, so many buyers needed Costco staff help or had to make multiple trips.
