As of October 2025, Nintendo updated their funds balance policy to be able to use the funds on anything offered in their online store, inclusive of the Switch 2, which makes deals like these a great deal opportunity.

I would have jumped on this if it was under $100 in GC as I don't need $200 worth of GC.

Just to confirm, you can use these to buy a Switch 2 from Nintendo directly, right?

The 4 pack is actually a single combo deal of 4 cards, and that's the limit. You can't buy more than the 4 cards with your Newegg account

Don't you, though?
$200 is about 3 digital games priced $60-70. With digital games costing $10 less than physical, you will probably be getting digital anyway. Then there's NSO subscriptions.
You can also reserve some of the gift cards to use as gifts, since this is 4 separate $50 gift card codes.

Be fr who is paying full price on games if you have the foresight to buy discounted eshop cards. or the patience to wait for sales.

Even if you go the lazy route of vouchers that's 4 first party nintendo titles. Without a new zelda I dont forsee buying any first party games in the next 3 yrs.

My entire Digital collection on Switch (~30 games) I spent just under $100 for has an MSRP of $700. And it includes hard-hitting indie games like UGG, STS, Inscryption, Cuphead, Balatro etc

The holiday season Costco $80 for $100 eshop gift card (4x$25) is objectively better for both gifting and personal use. This deal is only 15% off; costco is 20% off.
