The TCL QM6K Pro looks like a strong budget 75 inch mini LED TV for movies and gaming, with 312 local dimming zones, solid black levels, accurate HDR, and more consistent VRR than the comparable Hisense option. The Costco Pro version is described as using a QM7K style panel with better anti glare handling, while keeping QM6K level contrast, colors, and brightness. Google TV should handle streaming and IPTV apps, and Wi Fi 5 is not seen as a limitation for 4K playback. The main hesitation is value versus the U6 and the higher tier 7K, since the extra cost is harder to justify for some. A capable upgrade if you want better dark room performance and reflections control.
The TV can handle 4K streaming smoothly without needing Wi‑Fi 6 support.
The TV includes Google TV, which should make IPTV apps run without major issues.
The TV offers 312 local dimming zones for more detailed contrast control.
The TV can deliver surprisingly capable performance for the price compared with older budget sets.
The TV's anti-glare and reflection performance may not match expectations if prior TCL P607 results were different.
The QM6K Pro upgrade may be hard to justify when it costs about $200 more than the U6 model.
The QM6K Pro's panel-size differences can affect contrast and viewing angles, especially for 75-inch variants.
The TV's gaming advantage is not guaranteed because VRR consistency and pixel transitions depend on the specific panel comparison.
