just saw it and wondered if this is a good upgrade from a vivoactive 2. Maybe I should wait for a newer vivoactive?

I feel it's a good deal because it's been rare to find refurbished or open box Garmin watches in the $120 or less range over the last maybe 3 or 4 years.
I see the only downside it's the S so it is a smaller screen. Compared to yours it has a brighter screen, longer battery life, sleep score, fitness age, and stress tracking.
But I picked it up for my daughter so not too concerned on the bezel.

The Venu is basically a premium version of the vivoactive that came out the same time as the vivoactive 4. So this is like a premium version of the Vivoactive 5. If your vivoactive 2 doesn't have music download capabilities then its definitely a upgrade
