Fly More Combo is only $120 more, extra batteries are almost a must but this is a cheaper option for people who want to try them out. I just ordered the combo yesterday, I've flown the Mini 1 about 50 times and liked it so much I'm upgrading. This one is absolutely nice enough for a hobbiest.

I have this exact setup. It's a nice drone and pretty easy to fly for this noob. It does not have obstacle avoidance though. That's on the pro model. Highly recommend getting a carry case and at least 1 additional battery.

I'd definitely suggest getting the FlyMore combo as you'll want the extra batteries since almost everyone will want to fly their drone more than once before having to recharge.

How long does it take to recharge a battery on these?

Can someone please remind me I like the idea of a drone way more than having the constitution to actually fly it more than a few times. My bank account thanks you.

You can separately get 2 more batteries and a charging hub on amazon for around $120 later on

Once you look at the roof of your house and your neighbors landscaping a few times it gets very repetitive. Since flying these isn't a challenge its really about getting cool videos. If you live somewhere very scenic or travel with it a lot it could be fun for a while, but in a standard subdivision there is only so much to see.

2 OEM batteries for $120? No , only if it's used sold on eBay. Generic ones are cheap like $40-50 but cannot communicate to your dji fly app and may cause issues like wrong batteries levels etc.
