2.5 is very mid. My old blower came with the 2.5 and it blows harder (and of course longer) with the 5.

Don't buy it from Amazon. They have such poor QC and issues with counterfeit items being sold. I try and avoid buying any type of tech item through Amazon as much as possible.

2.5ah is light and perfect for blowing. Never had issue with it. Obviously you need higher amp for mow/snow blowing, but for light weed wacking and leaf blowing, 2.5ah is good and easier on my arm/back.
