This 2,048 watt hour LiFePO4 power station stands out as a budget backup for home outages, camping, and light-duty tools. It has seamless UPS switchover, enough output for sustained loads, and has run a steamer for about an hour and cafe lights through an evening. The price is roughly half of many similar 2 kilowatt hour units. Caveats include no expandability, 110 volt output that can be awkward for sensitive gear or EV charging, and reports of screen failures, shutdowns, and weak support.
Common Questions (4)
Yes. It can switch over seamlessly when grid power cuts out, and it has been used successfully as a UPS for home loads. One report also says it stayed solid while running a steamer for about an hour.
It outputs 110V, so sensitive equipment should be checked carefully and some loads may see voltage sag below 100V. It is considered suitable for simple loads like a refrigerator, but it is not a good choice for EV charging because Level 1 charging is very slow and may trigger grounding or charging errors.
No expandability is reported, so it is a fixed-capacity unit rather than a modular system. That matters if you want to add runtime later instead of buying a larger power station upfront.
At around $399, it is described as about half the price of most 2kWh units. The tradeoff is that the listed 3500-cycle battery rating is considered low by current standards.

110v output will be seen as rather low by the car, which may slow charging. Even at 120v, level 1 charging is extremely slow. This is only enough energy at the nameplate capacity to get you like 4 miles (assuming the cells haven't degraded after sitting in your car fully charged for a year). Your car may complain that ground isn't connected properly and refuse to charge.
