Agreed. Only 16 is crazy for that price (me from a few years ago)...

Computer prices has become unreasonable in the past year. I will just hold onto my five year old desktop and wait until all of this price inflation is over (not sure when though).

This with 32GB would be around $1500 new or $1250ish on a refurb prebuilt (Ebay Acers). 16GB is sufficient for 99% games including AAA games like Cyberpunk. This is marketed towards someone who wants a new mid-tier build that will last them a few years without major upgrades.

It's sadly a good price for 2026. Can't believe I was looking at 4TB Gen 5 SSDs and 4x32GB DDR5-5600 in 2025 and didn't buy... I'm staying with my 128 GB DDR4 and Gen 4 SSD until someone makes SK Hynix and the others pay for reporting 5x profits. What could be worse? Skynet becoming self aware?

cyberpunk came out 6 years ago...
even my steam deck and switch 2 can play it reasonably well

this price point for a mid-tier build is rough
