I have a maybe peculiar situation where I have to keep my usb ports capable of delivering power while my computer is shut down so that my wireless mouse dock will charge my mouse overnight. It's sort of an all or nothing deal in my bios settings so since this screen connects via internal motherboard usb header, this meant that it would be powered on the entire time my computer was shut down.
The TT app to run this screen is also just as bad as the reviews say, so I was unimpressed and realized why they're selling these for more than half off. This might be a better deal if a third party program like HWinfo or Aida64 can eventually control it but that didn't seem possible at the time I had it.
