I grabbed the curved version of the same brand ($20 more in black) and it's very nice for the price. The colors pop very nicely. I got it for my mother to work from home.

I bought two of these so I can put them on a stand one above the other in my office. It gives me a good amount of real estate so I can put 2 windows side by side on each and still have them wide enough to be useable. Looks like I paid 159 each a few months ago.

Not sure if the reviews are specific to this monitor, but DEAD pixels seems to be a problem. If you're one of those people that notices things like that, you're taking a chance. OTHERS, please post when you receive the monitor, do a pixel test and see if you're good to go. https://www.amazon.com/product-re...filter-bar

Dead pixels would be fine if it's right out of the box, so you can just return it if that's case. The concern would be a few months or a year down the line and dead pixels start popping up.
